Junior Front-End Developer (HTML/CSS)

Contract: Permanent contract with 3-month probation
Hours: Open to full-time and part-time applications
Salary: £23,000 - £34,000 p.a dependent on experience
Start date: May 2022
Location: Mix of working in office (Lewisham borough) & remote home working

We’re looking for someone to join our team with the ability to fulfil a junior role as a Front-End Developer.

You’ll need to show experience in creating HTML/CSS content but you don’t need to be the “ultimate front-end developer” to apply for this role - there is always room to learn and grow. Of course, strong experience in HTML/CSS is most desirable but we understand that breaking into a developer career can be daunting with languages, frameworks and tools ever evolving.

We’re a tiny agency with a big heart for our clients’ success - so you’ll work on jobs both for the agency and for our clients.

Desired Skills

We’re looking for a passionate individual, with:

A thorough understanding of HTML/CSS
Great problem-solving skills
An understanding of JS (helpful but not required)
Good written and verbal communication skills
An ability to manage tasks, priorities and deadlines

Tasks

You'll support both clients and the agency in tasks, such as:

Front-end coding (using design files)
e.g taking designs and building HTML/CSS templates

Front-end modifications
e.g updating HTML/CSS for an existing homepage layout

Digital artworking
e.g preparing web-ready images, vector files etc

Responsibilities

Managing and completing tasks as requested
Managing self-study
Working with the team on agency and client goals.
